What's the Greenest Way to Get Where You Want to Go, Visualized

In the meantime, here's a cool infographic from 1bog.org detailing the carbon footprint of transportation modes according to trip length. I learned this in my grad school studies, but it might be surprising to some that (economy) air travel is actually greener than traveling by car, especially over long distances:

But, as is clear from the above, buses are always the greenest non-human-powered mode of travel.
